STEEP SLOPE ROOFING SYSTEMS

What Is an Asphalt Roof?

Fiberglass-based shingles are manufactured with a mat composed entirely of glass fibers of multiple lengths and orientations. The fiberglass base is then surfaced with a specially-formulated asphalt coating, followed by weather-resistant mineral granules. Asphalt shingles are typically nailed in place. The flexibility and strength of these shingles support their installation on a wide variety of roof designs. These shingles are manufactured to handle extreme temperatures, and they perform well in areas where wind, water, and ice are prevalent, making them reliable for any Colorado project.

What Is a Metal Roof?

Metal roofing materials are known for their durability, resistance to weathering and low maintenance costs. The materials used vary widely from copper and zinc which both offer corrosion resistance and great aesthetic appeal, to coated steel panels that can be fabricated in many colors and profiles. Metal roofing has grown in popularity because of its versatility and ability to withstand harsh weather conditions.

What Is a Synthetic Roof?

Synthetic roofing products are made out of renewable resources that emulate naturally occurring products such as wood shakes, clay tiles, and slate. Synthetic roofing materials are significantly lighter than the materials they intend to replicate. Synthetic roofing materials create a highly durable roof that is environmentally friendly, weather-resistant, and can last twice as long as a conventional roof.

What Is a Tile Roof?

Roof tiles can be made from natural slate, stone, clay, or concrete. Roof tiles have flat or round profiles and seek to replicate centuries-old roofing materials. The installation consists of laying the tiles on top of underlayment and roof flashings. Tile roofs promote air circulation. They are fire safe, long-lasting, and resistant to hail which is perfect for any Colorado project.

LOW SLOPE ROOFING SYSTEMS

What Is a TPO Roof?

Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) membranes are single-ply roof membranes made from ethylene propylene rubber. TPO membranes are installed adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted. TPO roofs are heat-reflective and energy-efficient. They have extraordinary resistance to ultraviolet, ozone, and chemical exposure. Most TPO roofs are Energy Star Compliant and Cool Roof Rating Council Certified.

What Is a EPDM Roof?

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is a rubber material whose main components consist of the compounds ethylene and propylene. This roofing is installed adhered, mechanically fastened, or loose laid. EPDM is flexible and resistant to all changes in temperature without peeling or cracking. This roofing is relatively inexpensive and lasts for 12-25 years.

What are Metal Wall Panels?

Metal wall panels are one of the hottest trends in today’s building envelope. Not only can metal wall panels provide stunning accents to a building’s exterior, but they are also a durable and low maintenance finish for any structure. The panels can be installed on just about any building, and some composite systems add R-value. From sleek and modern profiles to artificially aged metal, metal panels are both versatile and functional.

What Are Rooftop Paver Systems?

Pavers provide durability and protection for the roof system from severe weather conditions. They can be installed over TPO and EPDM roofing systems to provide drainage and level walking surfaces. We offer concrete, soft, wood and custom paver systems for our Colorado projects.
